ABOUT ME

Thanks for stopping by. I am Seema Rose, a food and travel photographer and host of immersive creative retreats in inspiring destinations around the world.

 

Photography, for me, is about more than beautiful images. It’s about visual storytelling that feels sensorial and intentional. I love capturing images that invite people to pause, feel and connect. This approach shapes my work across food and travel photography, and is also the foundation of the creative retreats I host.

 

My creative journey has been guided by inspiring mentors, meaningful connections and time spent creating in beautiful places. This growth has been recognised through my work being shortlisted for the World Food Photography Award in 2022 and 2023, and winning 2nd and 3rd places in the Regional Gulf category of these awards in 2024.

 

Today, my main focus is hosting creative retreats for photographers. These are not technical workshops. Instead, they are thoughtfully curated retreats designed to help creatives slow down, reconnect with their creativity and build a genuine community with like-minded photographers.

 

Outside of my retreats and photography work, I’m passionate about travelling, connecting with people, listening to music and watching films. These passions influence the way I create and the experiences I design through my creative retreats.
